Defense paces Dragons to victory

Mr. Free
In a back and forth affair that saw both teams make momentous runs, the Dragons closed the game by outscoring Everest 24-13 in the 4th to capture their 2nd straight win.  Tyler Yin came up big in the 4th knocking down 3 three pointers to fuel the offense. Many of those were assisted by junior transfer, Anthony Ayala, who was playing in his first game as a Dragon.  Ayala finished with 12 points, 6 assists and 6 rebounds.  Freshman, Jake Goodman, continued his steady play contributing a double double with 13 points and 13 rebounds.  But the true catalyst for the night was the lightning quick Daro Serizawa who led the way with 6 steals and 3 deflections.  His defensive prowress was what turned the tide for good in the 4th quarter.  The Dragons look to keep their winning ways as they travel to Rhonert Park to face Technology tomorrow at 5:00.
