Lunar New Year Festival
Drewʻs Mandarin students hosted the communityʻs celebration of Lunar New Year, which began on February 2nd.
Lunar New Year began this past Tuesday, 2/2! This holiday is one of the most important celebrations of the year among East and Southeast Asian cultures, and is celebrated differently with various foods and traditions in preparation for the new year. At Drew, our students studying Mandarin prepared informational and interactive booths to teach fellow students and faculty about China and their traditions surrounding the New Year.
