Drew and Pollyanna hosted the first Charles Vogl community event - Building Campfires - over the weekend, with representatives from 10 bay area schools in attendance.
This is what experts consider to be the loneliest era in American history, if not world history, with over half of U.S. adults reporting they are lonely. For that reason, being proactive in community and relationship building is more important now than ever. Attendees of the action-oriented workshop explored the importance of connection and belonging through Vogl's three leadership distinctions: Invitations, the Campfire Principle, and 3AM Friends. In a space of vulnerability and curiosity and NO PHONES (!), one guest commented, “Who knew building community could stir-up so many emotions?"
