Parenting a high schooler comes with moments of deep connection—and moments of challenge. Whether navigating emotional outbursts, addressing misbehavior, discussing politics and identity, or managing tensions with other parents, these conversations can feel high stakes. How can we approach them in ways that affirm dignity, strengthen relationships, and promote understanding?
In this interactive session, we will explore practical tools from conflict resolution, restorative justice, and neurobiology to help parents and caregivers engage their teens with clarity, compassion, and confidence. Through storytelling, scenarios, and reflection, we will learn how to de-escalate conflict, foster open dialogue, and turn difficult moments into opportunities for growth.
