Eric Schulkin '09
Born and raised in San Francisco, Eric attended Drew School, graduating in 2009. Following high school, he attended Kenyon College, graduating in 2013 with a B.A. in Political Science.
As a Senior Financial Advisor with The Carey Group of Oppenheimer & Co. Inc., Eric helps clients with their financial planning and investment management needs. Additionally, Eric is a candidate for the Certified Financial Planning (CFP®) certificate, expected in mid-2019.
Prior to his career in finance, Eric worked in the music industry for a Grammy-winning music producer where he assisted with A&R as well as the operations of the record label.
Eric has maintained an active interest in helping his community through volunteerism with various programs. He served as Treasurer and board member for a Los Angeles-based community service charitable organization and co-chaired their annual golf tournament. Eric organized and hosted a FAFSA planning workshop at Drew School for
college-bound seniors and their families.
Eric enjoys learning about his Swedish heritage through his participation in the Vasa Order of America, a social organization headquartered at the Swedish American Hall in San Francisco. In his spare time, he plays basketball with friends and enjoys learning to cook, going to concerts and visiting local museums.
