Jenn is a clinical psychologist who was in private practice in San Francisco, CA for more than 12 years. In addition, she was a member of the adjunct faculty at the University of San Francisco for more than 15 years.
Jenn completed her postdoctoral training at UCSF and her research focused on identifying the psychological qualities associated with resiliency as well as helping to highlight some previously unacknowledged risks that can accompany high functioning survivors.
Most recently, Jenn has shifted her professional focus to consulting. She currently works with parents of LO and ADD children to identify, develop, and implement organizational strategies aimed at increasing self-esteem and scholastic competence. Jenn has also been a long-term Board Member of Guittard Chocolate Company.
Jenn is a fifth-generation San Franciscan and is passionate about the value gained in raising children in the diverse vibrant tolerant community we call home. Jenn is married to Tim and together they are raising three children. The oldest two, son Jack '18 and daughter Jae '20 are members of the Drew community. Watching their children navigate adolescence, Jenn is reminded regularly of the positive impact Drew has had on their children. Their third child Gabriel is 11 years old adopted from Guatemala, and has added diversity, energy, and youth to their now biracial family. She is looking forward to continuing to support all aspects of Drew as a Board Member.
