Robotics Rises to the Challenge
Drew's very own robotics team is gearing up for its 3rd competition season!
A recent assembly featured an on-stage demonstration of this year's bot. Students also met for the season's FIRST FRC game announcement. Drew is ready for the 2024 challenge—our growing program has expanded its workshop and our drivetrain is now a "swerve," which will allow for more precise maneuvering on the field. This will increase our competitiveness and will provide exciting learning opportunities to our students.
At this time, new teammates are getting oriented to the workshop and applying various hands-on skills such as metal working, mechanical and electrical design, and software development.
