Bring Change to Mind’s (BC2M's) 3rd annual Wellness Summit took place on Thursday, May 4. The Wellness Summit is an opportunity for our community to reflect on health and wellness, with the hopes of normalizing and de-stigmatizing conversations on mental health and wellbeing.
It was followed by an assembly, which included a fun mental health trivia game between the grades. After 5 rounds and a tie breaker, the seniors won! Click to watch the BC2M video that was shown at the assembly.
Students then participated in two different workshops on a variety of health and wellness topics. These workshops, shown above, covered a multitude of topics related to physical and mental health, self-care, reflection, nutrition and more.
Thank you to everyone for actively participating in our Wellness Summit. And a special thank-you to Angelica Cardenas and the BC2M team, and our faculty, staff, and student workshop-facilitators for all the work they put into making this event a success.
