Bring Change to Mind’s (BC2M's) hosted the 2nd annual school wide Wellness Summit on campus this week.
The Wellness Summit is an opportunity for our community to reflect on health and wellness, with the hopes of normalizing and de-stigmatizing conversations on mental health and wellbeing.
The day started with an assembly about Mental Health Awareness Month, which included a fun trivia game between students and teachers. After 10 rounds of mental health trivia, the students came out as winners!
Students then participated in two different workshops on a variety of health and wellness topics. These workshops, shown above, covered a multitude of topics related to physical and mental health, self-care exercises, and more.
Thank you to everyone for actively participating in our Wellness Summit. And a special thank-you to Angelica Cardenas and the BC2M team, and our faculty, staff, and student workshop-facilitators for all the work they put into making this event a success.
Drew knows and believes in teenagers. We engage each student in a process of intellectual discovery to develop an individual voice, the confidence to express it, and the empathy to understand its impact.
