Dragons hold off Bentley for 2-1 Victory

Mr. Free
The Dragons set the tone early as Apryl Oulette sent a beautiful corner into the box that led to a Sadie Pena header which evoked a great save from the goalie. However, junior, transfer, Carolina Auerbach was there to follow up and score her 1st goal as a Dragon. Freshman, Panita Serizawa opened the 2nd half with a goal of her own to put the Dragons up 2-0. Bentley eventually came back to score with a shot from well outside the box with just a few minutes remaining in the game. However, the Dragons were able to hold them and finish out the game 2-1. The Dragons are now 2-0-1 and look to build upon their early success under new coach, Carlos Bover, at they travel to Oakland to battle College Prep on February 15th at 3:45PM.
