After numerous close calls and late game runs that fell just short, the varsity boys' captured their 1st victory of the season, beating Round Valley by a score of 55-48. Jason Love, Jake Goodman and Max Breall all contributed to taking Round Valley's 6'11" center, Hunter Hopkins out of the game early. A balanced attack, led by Andrew Robb and Goodman proved to be the difference down the stretch. The Dragons entered the 4th quarter with a 20 point lead and hung on in the games final minutes to fight off a pesky Round Valley team. Freshman, Jake Goodman earned All-Tournament honors for the team.
