Improve your physical and mental health.

The Strength & Conditioning Camp is a three-week program designed to introduce middle school students to the fundamentals of fitness, athletic movement, and healthy training habits. Campers will build a strong foundation through age-appropriate, introductory-level workouts and utilize Drew School’s athletic facilities on campus and in the neighborhood.
Training Days Note
On physical training days (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday), campers will attend mornings only, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Research shows it’s inadvisable for this age group to train for more than three hours per day.
Beyond the weight room, campers will explore the broader world of athletics through field trips highlighting various sports-related careers. Students will meet professionals working in sports medicine, athletic training, performance coaching, broadcasting, sports operations, and more.
Designed to be engaging, confidence-building, and accessible to all fitness levels, this camp will leave students with improved fundamental athletic skills, a better understanding of their bodies, and a positive experience with fitness and teamwork.

Special Schedule
Monday, June 15 – Wednesday, July 1, 2026: 9 a.m.–3:45 p.m.
Thursday, July 2: Evening performance at 6 p.m.
This three-week workshop introduces middle school students to the art of live theater, taking drama from page to stage. The focus is on learning how to be seen, heard, understood, and believed. Students will also learn skills in stage management, set design, lighting, and sound.
Course work includes in-class journaling, text and character analysis, rehearsing scenes and monologues, improv games, and exploring both verbal and non-verbal communication. Students build skills in creativity, collaboration, and confidence while working in Drew’s professional-level theater.
Throughout the workshop, students gain a comprehensive understanding of the rehearsal process and engage in self-evaluation through writing and discussion at the end of each unit. The experience will culminate in a live performance on the last day of the summer session.
Whether you’re new to theater or already have stage experience, this workshop offers something for everyone.
Music Production Workshop
Record a song.

The Music Production Workshop is a three-week, hands-on program introducing middle school students to how music is created in today’s recording studios. Utilizing Drew’s band room and recording studio, students will explore both the creative and technical sides of music in a supportive, beginner-friendly environment while working with professional tools and equipment.
Throughout the camp, students will learn and practice:
- Songwriting and beat creation
- Recording vocals and instruments
- Digital editing and sound design
- Mixing and basic mastering techniques
- Critical listening and creative decision-making
Students will also explore music and audio related careers, including producer, recording engineer, composer, and sound designer. And they’ll learn how music connects to film, games, and media.
Collaboration is central to the experience. Through group projects and creative challenges, students will develop confidence and creativity. By the end of the three weeks, each student or group will complete a finished song to share and be proud of.
This camp is open to all experience levels and focuses on building a strong foundation in music production.
Maker Space Workshop
Unleash your creativity.

The Maker Space Workshop is designed for young innovators and artists who love to design, build, and experiment. Campers will dive into hands-on projects utilizing Drew’s 3D printer, laser cutter, wood burner, sewing machines, and sculpting clay.
Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned builder, you'll learn new skills, tackle creative challenges, and walk away with incredible creations. Get ready to turn your wildest ideas into reality! Campers might:
- Create a moving automaton sculpture
- Design and sew a LED light-up stuffy
- Sculpt miniature 3D art with Sculpey clay
This workshop encourages curiosity, problem-solving, and imagination—giving students the freedom to turn big ideas into real-world creations.
