The Leadership Lab is a bold, real-world learning program that transforms academic knowledge into leadership, innovation, and impact. The Leadership Lab offers access to real-world experiences that extend far beyond the classroom. From foundational skills to selective senior-year capstones, students accelerate their growth and participate in college-worthy experiences —and discover their purpose—at every stage of their Drew experience.
Leadership Lab Core –
Leading with Responsibility, Learning with Purpose
All students participate in Leadership Lab Core curriculum, which includes Drew’s annual Experiential Week (DEALL), leadership training via advisories, and electives that emphasize real-world application across disciplines. Whether students are designing solutions, writing legislation, or launching ideas, our Core curriculum equips them with the mindset and tools to lead with purpose.

Leadership Lab –
Capstone Project for Seniors
All seniors participate in the Senior Capstone Project, a yearlong experience dedicated to developing a personal capstone project. Students intern with mission-aligned partners, conduct field research, and design solutions that address real community needs—culminating in a public Community Showcase. This is where Drew students step fully into the role of scholar-leaders ready to make an impact.
The supportive culture we’ve created makes it easier for students to reach outside of their comfort zones to learn and grow, and a full ⅓ of our students participate in leadership roles.
