Boys Varsity Soccer Wins BCL-Central Championship!

Congratulations to the Boys Varsity Soccer team on winning the BCL-Central Championship over the #1 seed International! Both teams battled through regulation and two overtime periods before the game was decided in penalty kicks, 5-3.

The entire team put forth a strong effort—each player gave their all. The defense was sharp the whole game led by Goalie Chalom '21, especially in the second overtime when he stopped three point-blank shots to hold the tie.

The offense continued to put pressure on International and gave themselves plenty of chances to put the game away, but never connected. The team pulled out the victory in PK's with Charlie '19, Pema '21, Aidan '21, Daro '19, and Gavin '20 connecting on their kicks.

Congratulations to the team and coaches on a successful season and good luck in the NCS playoffs which begin Wednesday, Oct. 31, at 6 p.m., at Kezar, against Fremont Christian.
