College Counseling Outlook
As we begin the 2018-19 school year, we would like to welcome back all students and share our enthusiasm for the year ahead!
Our first year at Drew was amazing, with students earning admission to nearly 175 different colleges and universities across the U.S. and internationally. Those students will pursue studies in engineering, business, visual and performing arts, and humanities.

Building on the success of last year, we have already offered a three-day College Essay Workshop, begun our Senior College Counseling Seminar, and hosted Senior Parent/Guardian College Night, which featured a fantastic parent panel from the Class of 2018. The year ahead looks bright and we anticipate great things from the Class of 2019.
Drew’s college counseling philosophy is built on the belief that students are best served when they become empowered to lead their own college admission process by engaging in self-reflection, setting realistic expectations informed by data, developing productive relationships, and conducting sound research. We help students maximize their success through intentional grade-level programming and one-on-one support.
Students have the opportunity to meet with nearly 150 admission representatives who visit Drew annually. Juniors and seniors are encouraged to take advantage of these events, which occur each fall, to enhance their knowledge of colleges and universities. We also utilize those moments to advocate for our students by educating admission representatives about the Drew dynamic and contextualizing the unique features of our curriculum.
The college process is one where students utilize the deep sense of self they have developed as they've found their voice at Drew, and it is a pleasure to support them in that journey. We are delighted to be fully immersed in the college admission process with seniors and look forward to partnering with each grade level throughout the year!
