The evening also celebrated our performing artists as they took the stage for their final performances of the year. A special congratulations to all the artists of the Class of 2023!

This past Thursday, the visual art students hosted a gallery walk to showcase their best artwork from the semester. All these pieces were displayed throughout the first floor to show all the hard work that has been done by students in the painting, drawing, photography, filmmaking, sculpture, printmaking and design classes. Along with the pieces, the artists also provided a brief artist's statement or a title to give the reader a better perspective on their inspiration or ideas. From simple sketches with pencil and paper to intricate sculptures carved from wood each art piece in the show was thoughtful and carefully crafted. Congratulations to all the students for their work, and thank you to all the art teachers who made this special event possible.

In addition to the visual arts gallery walk, the evening celebrated our performing artists as they took the stage for their final performances of the year. The concert a featured aw rich variety of music including jazz, classical, and contemporary, and highlighted our 12th grade performers as they showed off the skills they have been developing over their four years at Drew. In case you missed it, watch a recording of the livestream here. Congratulations to all the visual and performing artists of the Class of 2023:
