Welcome Week Retreats Recap

At Drew, Welcome Week is an opportunity to kick-off the year with an emphasis on building community. Each grade level engaged in a variety of activities to get to know each other better, including riding mechanical bulls and boating in Golden Gate Park.

12th Grade Retreat: They began the morning with a “Protect the Egg” challenge, where each advisory was given a bag of materials they could use to protect their egg from the concrete below. 11th Grade Retreat:
Students met at Stagecoach Greens to spend the day together, play a round on the Boom or Bust mini-golf course, and explore all the tasty bites SPARK Social has to offer. Click here for more 11th grade photos.
 

 
10th Grade Retreat: Drew 10th graders spent their retreat at Golden Gate park for picnics and play. They rotating between a photo scavenger hunt, games in the park, and boating in Stow Lake. Click here for more 10th grade photos.
 
 
 

9th Grade Retreat:
The day started with a tower-building contest and scavenger hunt race between advisories, and ended with inflatable bull rides and relay races! Click here for more 9th grade photos.
