Drew Robotics Wins SF Regional FIRST Robotics Tournament

Congratulations to the six members of the Drew Robotics team who built a robot from scratch and competed in the Regional FIRST Robotics Tournament.
The team was part of a three school alliance, and they competed with teams from all over the region. In addition to the win, the team was also awarded Rookie Team of the Year.

The team spent the last four months building the robot by cutting metal, stripping wires, programming with JAVA, and welding together a machine to achieve the tournament objectives. After building the robot, the team competed in 15 different matches and won the tournament with two other teams in the alliance.  Special thanks to coach Jay Murphy along with students: Carson Allcroft, Nate Murphy, Miles Irwin, Fiona Casamassina, Jules Ghuloum, and Issac Grossnickle. Way to represent!
