Getting to Drew

Drew attracts students from all over the San Francisco Bay Area. 25% of Drew families live outside of the city of San Francisco. Drew assists families commute in a variety of ways, including providing a list of families by zip code in order to help families organize carpools.

  • North Bay

    Marin Bus Service

    Drew offers a daily bus service to and from Marin County in conjunction with other local San Francisco schools. There is one stop in San Rafael at 4th and Hetherton, and a second stop in Mill Valley/Tiburon at Piatti's.
  • Peninsula

    Morning Bus Service

    Peninsula families independently organize and commission a bus that provides round trips for students. This bus is partly subsidized by Drew.

    Afternoon Taxi Service

    Drew arranges for taxis (minimum of two students per taxi required) to the Caltrain station. A signed liability waiver and student contract are required to use this service.

    School Fairs
    SF Independent School High School Fair
    Sunday, Sept. 8, 2019, from 1 to 4 p.m.
    This fair is for eighth-grade students who are currently attending independent schools.

    Marin High School Fair
    Monday, Sept. 16, 2019, from 6 to 8 p.m.
    Location: Marin Catholic School
    This fair is for eighth-grade students in the Marin area to gather information and listen to presentations by private/independent high schools.

    Public and Parochial School Fair #1
    Saturday, Sept. 21, 2019, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
    Location: Lick-Wilmerding High School
    Register here. This fair is for eighth-grade students who are currently attending public or parochial schools.

    Please note that the school fairs are structured in this way due to capacity issues. We ask that you respect the intentionality behind each fair.
