Supporting Drew

Drew's program continues to evolve and flourish with the generous efforts of a great many people. Faculty, parents, staff, trustees and alumni join together to support Drew through their work as volunteers and as donors. It is only with this kind of care and generosity that Drew reaches its full potential as a community.

Remember, due to Drew’s YES (Year of Entry Set) Tuition, families in grades 9–11 will not experience an increase in tuition next year. Because of this unique tuition model and the fact that Drew is a small school, fundraising is vital to maintaining our vibrant community! The Drew Annual Fund is a priority among our funding needs and directly supports many aspects of Drew's incredible program including:

• Enhanced DEALL (Drew Education for Active Lifelong Learning) Week offerings, which in 2012 included observing leatherback turtles in Costa Rica, Printmaking in the SF Mission, Welding at the Crucible in Oakland and working with Habitat for Humanity in Beaumont, Texas.
• Exciting new technology including our one-to-one iPad program.
• Increased opportunities for faculty professional development such as summertime teaching in South Africa and participating in teacher training in India.
• The additions of Swimming and Lacrosse to the Athletic program- Go Dragons!
• Financial Assistance for over 40% of our families with an average grant of 60% of full tuition.
• Increased funding for the Drew Library which recently added a new reference database and e-reference books in addition to its collection of 13,000 books, DVDs and CDs.
