Friday Electives

Drew recognizes the importance of nurturing and supporting each student’s particular passions through the course of the school day.  The Friday Electives program is designed to allow students to delve more deeply into individual interests and try new activities in a dedicated weekly class.  These electives include fine and performing arts, sports and fitness, social/political activities, academic enrichment, and more.

Students interested in widening their academic schedule can opt for AP English or East African History.  Those longing for physical activity can indulge in indoor soccer, running or yoga.  Artistic outlets are available in the form of screen-printing, open studio and photography.  And students wishing to participate in service while at school can take part in a tutoring program at a local elementary school.
