College Counseling

College Counseling at Drew offers a supportive environment for students and their parents/guardians to fully explore post secondary options. Throughout the process, students are encouraged to consider their personal interests and abilities, research appropriate options and create a plan that resonates with their individual (and family) goals.

Preparing for life after Drew is a time of excitement and anticipation. The college process officially begins in the spring semester of junior year. College Counselors work in partnership with families to guide students through each step of the college process.

Relevant information is regularly provided through our office in a timely manner using a variety of formats. All juniors are enrolled in 'Cookies and College' a weekly spring elective that covers the many facets of the college process. We also offer individual student and parent/guardian meetings, small /large group presentations and weekly reminders in our Newsletter and on Naviance, a web-based college counseling program utilized by our students and families. Additionally, college representatives visit Drew throughout the Fall semester to connect with students and discuss the options available at their particular campus. We invite all interested students to attend as their schedule allows.

We hope the information on this website is helpful as you navigate the college process. Students and parents/guardians are welcome to contact us in the College Counseling Office as the need arises.
